Stephen van Rooyen

Support Analyst

I joined AIGS in July 2013 as a Technical Support Analyst but prior to that, I was employed by UCS Technology Services (Vodacom Account), where I gained more than 6 years’ experience in Helpdesk Support.

I was welcomed by the AIGS team to provide Yellowfin support to customers in the EMEA & Sub-Saharan African regions, as well as assist the sales team with Proof-of-Concepts for potential clients and issuing of software licenses.

I was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape, but now happily reside in Midrand with my long-term girlfriend.  As a self-confessed football fanatic, I spend the majority of my free time watching sports, football in particular.

I consider myself to be a committed and proactive professional who is passionate about technology. With a Diploma in Computer Science, after graduating from C.T.I with a distinction, I also have acquired certificates for numerous programming languages.
