Change Data Capture

Progress OpenEdge Change Data Capture (CDC) is a monitoring mechanism at the OpenEdge database level allowing, according to the established rules, to record changes in database tables. This property of the database was released with OpenEdge 11.7.

Change Data Capture is a new extension product in OE 11.7. It can be purchased separately or together with an OE license Advance Enterprise RDBMS. Syntax OpenEdge SQL, OpenEdge ABL and OpenEdge Management, OpenEdge Explorer and OpenEdge Explorer and others were enriched by support for the CDC.
