The year 2020 was an unexpected challenge for many companies due to the local and global impact of Covid. Many organisations faced huge challenges when the country went into lockdown and business trading ground to a halt. Dovetail felt the economic impact of 2020, just like everybody else, with several projects being placed on hold and with some clients facing trying times.

However, we were in a fortunate position to offer software to logistics organisations – specifically Courier companies – with exactly what they needed to satisfy the growing demand that e-commerce created. Not only were we able to provide our existing clients with upgrades into our new Progress based technologies, we also added a number of new clients to our customer base.

Dovetail is proof of how, with the right attitude, it is possible to turn problems into opportunities! We are extremely proud that we didn’t just survive lockdown, we prospered from the changes that were forced on us!
